Scripture Use

Scripture Use is a broad category, including many varied methods to get the translated Scriptures into use and at work in people’s lives. Some techniques are complex and sophisticated; others are simple.

They include the use of the Jesus film, video, chronological story telling, audio cassettes, hymnology, silkscreened t-shirts, the everyday spoken word and more.

While many of us may not have the opportunity to translate the Scriptures into another language, we all can become expert Scripture users. We can do so by sharing an encouraging or appropriate verse at an opportune time with a neighbour, co-worker or man-on-the-street.

Wycliffe is working with many partner organisations to help people use the translated Scriptures to transform lives.

John 1:1

In the beginning was the Word

Verse for today

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
